Activating Apple Carplay and Android Auto
Do you miss Apple Carplay or Android Auto?
Many vehicles’ multimedia system hardware supports Apple Carplay and Android Auto, but this feature is not included from the factory. We offer Apple Carplay and Android Auto activation mainly for BMW and VAG group vehicles, but there are also other car makes and models that can have Carplay activated by us.
For other car brands, please make an inquiry first and send us your vehicle registration number or VIN code.
BMW Apple Carplay + Android Auto activation
In the case of BMW, Carplay and Android Auto can be activated on almost all vehicles manufactured after 2016 that are equipped with the NBTEvo multimedia system.
A WiFi antenna is usually required for Apple Carplay and Android Auto to work, if the car does not have one, we can retrofit it to your vehicle. We can also activate Video in Motion so that you can watch videos, movies, etc. while driving.
The list below shows whether your vehicle has the ability to activate the system in full screen or half screen, depending on the multimedia software version.

VAG Apple Carplay + Android Auto activation
For the VAG group (Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Škoda), the prerequisite is the presence of a MIB2 multimedia system. MIB2 is installed on most VAG group vehicles manufactured after 2015.
Volkswagen, Seat, Škoda: Hold the MENU button for 5 seconds -> Software update/versions-> Installed SW Train version.
Please send us a picture of the software version displayed so that we can confirm whether your vehicle is capable of activating Carplay+Android Auto.
Audi: Menu-> Setup MMI -> Version Information. The software version must be "MHI2_ER_AU57x_xxxxx" or "MHI2_ER_AUG11_xxxxx".
