Fast and affordable solutions to AdBlue problems!

Most diesel-powered heavy-duty equipment manufactured since 2010 and passenger cars manufactured after September 2015 are equipped with AdBlue systems. Different car manufacturers call the system by different names – the most common of which are AdBlue, DEF, BlueMotion, BlueHDI, BlueTEC.

The system reduces NOx (nitrogen oxide) compounds produced by diesel engines and helps achieve EURO 4, 5 and 6 emission standards.

In the event of a system failure, the heavy-duty equipment enters a derate mode, or limp mode, and the machine’s power is greatly limited – in most cases, it is impossible to continue working with the machine when limp mode is activated.

In passenger cars, a warning message about a system failure and the mileage after which the vehicle will no longer start, are displayed on the screen.

How does this system work?

The system consists of the following components:

The system is generally controlled by a separate control unit, but in some cases it can also be controlled by the engine control unit. The system has a heater to heat the AdBlue, either in the piping or built into the tank.

AdBlue is pumped from the tank through a piping to a nozzle, which sprays the substance into the exhaust system. The exhaust gas, together with the sprayed substance, then passes through the SCR catalytic converter, where the NOx compounds are converted into nitrogen and water.

The efficiency of the system is measured by NOx sensors.

What are the typical AdBlue system failures and concerns?

Although the system is well thought out by engineers, there are still many problems with it. Experience has shown that most problems occur between -5°C and +5°C in particularly humid weather.

The system can always be repaired and faulty components replaced, but this usually involves a very large bill from the repair company and no one can guarantee that the system will not fail again after some time. The prices of AdBlue components for passenger cars range from 300-5000€. In the case of heavy equipment, the prices are many times higher.

AdBlue system removal

We offer a fast and affordable solution to AdBlue system failures – complete removal of the system from the engine control unit’s software.

We offer solutions for both heavy-duty equipment (tractors, combines, excavators, harvesters and forwarders, trucks, buses and all other industrial machines) and passenger cars and vans.

Software removal of the AdBlue system has several advantages:

– There is no need to repair an already malfunctioning system. The vehicle is forever free from AdBlue problems.

– There is no need to add AdBlue again.

– You will never again encounter a situation where work stops or the car does not start due to a malfunction of the AdBlue system.
